Ōkami
After two whole years I started playing Ōkami again, from scratch. One of my favorite PS2 games, and certainly one of the most beautiful. Check out the opening (actual gameplay look at 1:16) Amazing art direction and soundtrack. A great story and lovable characters. Superb gameplay.Initially it was supposed to be more photo-realistic 3D, like this preview shows: But they decided to go with the cell-shading, citing limitations in PS2 hardware. Great decision if you ask me, makes it much more unique. Besides, the new look brought the famous Celestial Brush gameplay feature into the game.
